  • How Do I become a New Patient?
    The best way is to click the "Contact Us" tab. Fill out your contact info and leave a brief message with your preferred dates and times for a complimentary 15 minute phone consultation. You can also call (631)210-6305 or email to schedule.
  • Where Are You Located?
    2500 Nesconset Hwy. Bldg. 17 C Stony Brook, NY 11790 Please note that office hours are by appointment only.
  • Do You Accept My Insurance?
    The office is currently able to accept payment from a limited number of commercial insurance plans. If you are not insured through one of these plans, this does not mean that you cannot see us. If you are claiming on your out-of-network benefits, we will provide you with an itemized receipt called a "superbill," which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Many of our patients are reimbursed a significant portion of the cost of the session. We encourage you to contact your insurance carrier and ask about "out-of-network mental health benefits." You may also wish to ask about your "out-of-network deductible." Payment is due at the time of service. We are able to accept Straight Medicare at this time. We do not accept Medicare Advantage Plans. Traditional Part B Medicare will only cover 80% of your visit and you must meet your annual deductible each year. Your secondary insurance may or may not pay your copayments. Our office does not bill secondary insurance directly. Any copayments are the responsibility of the patient. We do not accept Medicaid or Community Plans at this time.
  • Do You Offer Psychotherapy?
    Yes - we offer both psychotherapy and medications as appropriate.
  • Do You Offer Telehealth?
    We offer both in-person and telehealth visits to accommodate your specific needs. Telehealth sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. There are some cases in which Dr. G. will need to see you in-person. Please contact the office for more details.
  • What Are Your Fees?
    The cost per session depends on the length of the visit and the complexity of the presenting problem. Please call the office at 631-210-6305 or email, and we would be happy to answer your questions.
  • What Form of Payments Do You Accept?
    We accept all major credit cards, cash, check, and Zelle.
  • What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
    We value and respect your time and expect the same in return. We keep a 48 hour cancellation policy and reserve the right to charge a full session's fee for missed appointments or cancellations without adequate notice.
